|Brief description of the livelihood:||
UFAC will apply for Green Fins membership and follow the protocol on snorkeling as stated in its code of conduct. Green Fins encourages and empowers its members to act to reduce the pressures on coral reefs by offering enterprises practical and low-cost alternative to harmful practices as well as providing strategic support and resources. They will explore certification as Green Fins site once the association has generated sufficient profits from BDFE.
Lastly, the ecotourism enterprise of UFAC will allocate five percent of its net income to socio-economic activities and 25% will be apportioned to natural resource conservation efforts. This will complement financial resources provided by Bais City LGU and other NGOs in continuing inititatives to properly manage MPA and Talabong Mangrove Park.
