Brief description of the livelihood:

Rare, a local resource partner of DENR-SMARTSeas provided trainings to members on basic food handling and fish processing. Members of ACESAFA attended seminars and workshops on marine conservation facilitated by Rare in partnership with DENR-SMARTSeas. Members and officers  participated in trainings provided by the Provincial Agriculture Office/Department of Agriculture on herb processing, vermicomposting and banana chips processing. The Department of Science and Technology conducted training on personal hygiene for ACESAFA. 


Ayungon LGU identifies ACESAFA as a possible partner in managing Community Fish Landing Center (CFLC). ACESAFA was provided training on management of CFLC provided by the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC), partner of BFAR in its capacity development activities.
